TAGBILARAN CITY – A certain Giovanni Bation Luzares, married and resident of barangay Poblacion Norte, Carmen town reported to the police that he is a victim of carnapping. He told police that his motorbike Yamaha Vega silver and black with license plate number 2154 IS was stolen by still unknown carnapper while it was parked near Gov. Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital, along M. Parras street, this city yesterday afternoon.
Another victim is identified is Delfin Estallo Penales, married and a resident of Bingag, Dauis town and a collector of Wqilkris establishment told police that his motorcycle XRM 125 Honda black was believed to be carnapped while it was parked along B. Inting street, infront of Alturas superstore the other day
The incidents are now referred to thief and robbery section of city police station for further investigation.
Earlier carnappers victimized another motorbike owner, identified as one Irene Humol Nistal, 37,married and resident of purok 9 Upper West Songculan, Dauis town yesterday.
Nistal told police that her husband, Gerardo Nistal’s motorcycle Honda XRM 110 blue with license plate No. GF 7135 parked along J. S. Torralba street this city was gone after they got out from Shopper’s Mart at past 4 PM yesterday.
When “they got out from Shopper’s Mart they discovered that their motorcycle was missing at the place where it was parked.” They tried to locate it and but to no avail, police blotter showed.
Last week, a certain Christian Camina Malabasa 17, single and a student of PMI Colleges in this city and a native of barangay Tumod Mar, Jagna town residing at Remolador street of this city reported to the police that his motorcycle was stolen.
The victim told the police that when he got back ot his Honda XRM 125 color red with license plate Number XW 8337 was nowhere to be found where it is parked at Remolador street near the Tavers Pension House.
It will be recalled that one Rito Degamo, 42, married and resident of CPG East Avenue, Poblacion 3, this city reported to the police that his motorcycle was nowhere to be found where it was parked.
He said that his Honda Dream red with plate no. 7A 3741 and chassis no. KFM1001Y031089 and Engine no. KFMG01E8009889, registered in the name of Marcelina Degamo was parked along CPG East Avenue near Bohol land.
When he went back to where it was parked he saw no more motorcycle, he said in police blotter. Unnamed witness said he saw two unidentified teenage suspects carted away his motorcycle at past one pm yesterday.
On the same vein, one Peregrino Somontan Bongcac, 39, married, who is a tourist van driver and resident of Bogho, Loon, Bohol also reported to the police that his motorcycle HONDA XRM 125 color red with white combination bearing plate number 4802 IO with Engine No. XRM16E156491 and Chassis No. XRM16156491 was stolen by unknown suspects.
“When he went out from Gov. Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital only he noticed that his driven motorcycle described which he parked outside the said hospital along M. Parras Street from 5:00PM was already missing and believed stolen by unidentified suspects. All these cases are under investigation, police said.
Early this year, city police authorities claimed that they have achieved to reduce he carnapping incidents in the city and arrested one of the suspects who is teenager, police chief PCInsp. Geroge Vale said.
Vale said that there have been several cases of carnappings mostly motorcycles, adding that based on their records, the month of August posted two but the the carnapped motorcycles have been recovered.
There have been four (4) carnapping cases in January this year. But the most was during the month of March with 21; February, 15; April, 17; May, 10; June, 6; July, 4. Vale said that he pins hopes to make carnapping may be prevented in the days to come. (w/ report from Ern Pahayahay)
