TAGBILARAN CITY – The satisfaction rating of President Benigno S. Aquino III has significantly dropped to +43 this year from +67 in 2014, Bohol Poll Holy of Holy Name University (HNU) showed. The result is P-Noy’s lowest since he posted +70 in 2013 and +65 in 2012, Bohol Poll said. But Vice-President’s satisfaction rating dwindled further to +32 from +71 in 2014.
Binay got +66 and +71 in 2013 and 2012, respectively, Bohol Poll showed in a power point presentation at high school audi-visual hall yesterday this city. It was attended by different sectors, like business, government agencies and city and provincial governments.
The survey was conducted on March 26 to April 17, 2015. There were 400 respondents who are registered voters. Each district had 100 and another 100 being interviewed in this city.
It was not clear if the incident in Mamasapano, Maguindanao, where 44 Special Action Force of the PNP and other victims was the caused on his reduced rating and popularity.
On the hand, it was also unclear if Binay’s alleged involvement in Makati corruption mess had something to do with significant decline of his satisfaction rating in Bohol.
But the President and Vice-President rating were still “good,” Ms. Pat Espiritu of the Bohol Poll said based on the standard rating of the Social Weather Station (SWS).
P-Noy posted net satisfaction rating of +37 in district one; district II, +58; district III, +34; and Tagbilaran city, +33.
VP Binay got net satisfaction rating of +22 in district I; district II, +57; district III, +20; and Tagbilaran city, +7.
P-Noy scored +58, the highest, across 34-45 age group and +29 among those aged 18-24. Binay got +47 across 18-24 and +17, the lowest across 25-34 age group, Bohol Poll showed. (rvo)
